The challenge
The customer had implemented CADIS, an enterprise data management solution, as a central data hub. Lack of expertise on CADIS internally and the challenge of retaining skilled CADIS experts, added to the customer’s problem. This led to the need for change management, to adapt to the needs of CADIS technology.
In addition, the customer was facing challenges in development, deployment and testing of applications. Deploying CADIS across different environments was time consuming as it was done manually. The time spent during the entire testing cycle, including system, integration and user acceptance alleviated the concerns.
They needed a technology partner with expertise in CADIS to take complete ownership of application development, maintenance and support of their CADIS applications.
Our solution
Mindtree built a CADIS Centre of Excellence (CoE) for the customer. The CoE provided application maintenance and development support for the CADIS implementation. Mindtree implemented standard tracking processes and metrics to improve the effectiveness of the deliverables.
We also implemented AutoREL, a CADIS project release automation tool for the customer to reduce the CADIS build deployment time across environments. To improve testing, we implemented industry standard test processes that considerably improved the quality.
