The Madhya Pradesh High Court sought to secure three of its court premises against potential intruders who posed threat to its safety. The court premises needed state-of-the-art CCTV high definition IP cameras with video management and analytics software.
After evaluating multiple options in the RFP phase, the technical team zeroed-in on Mindtree's Gladius video management and analytics software. The product not only delivers high-performance and usability but also raises real-time alerts against potential threats through intrusions and trespassing with the help of video analytics.
The Madhya Pradesh High Court shortlisted Nidhi (I) Industries, Gwalior as the system integrator for Gladius.
Currently, over 500 cameras are deployed at the Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur courts along with failover systems to record 24/7 high definition video. Gladius Video Analytics software automatically counts people, vehicles and detects crowd formation and tail-gating. The sites have been configured to detect violations such as loitering and people movements in prohibited areas.
Gladius Video Analytics helps the High Court security team detect any/every intrusion during the night and during the courts’ closed hours. The software automatically alerts end users and enables the security team to take immediate action.
The security team also sought to identify all the vehicles entering the High Court premises. Gladius Pro VMS come integrated with an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system. Users can search for particular number plates and Gladius throws up images of the corresponding vehicles.
The entire turnkey project was delivered on time and within budget by Mindtree and Nidhi Industries.
