The core functionalities of Duck Billings are Payment, Refund, General Liability, and Commission, which follow a defined configuration pattern without having too many variances across insurance carriers. This inspired us to think and build a platform/accelerator that could be used to accelerate such builds in various Duck Engagements across regions. Mindtree Duck CoE constructed an ‘Automated Billing Configurator,’ which can be leveraged to ensure faster Time to Value through solution reusability.
This configuration BoT follows a specific design pattern prescribed by Duck Creek to establish the solution framework for automated configuration of the below modules through a single interface, driven by carrier-specific parameters:
- Payment configuration and integration with payment gateways.
- Refund configuration and integration with payment gateways.
- GL integrations.
